Terms and Conditions for MyFamily Grocer Loyalty Program

M5 Capital Trading Ltd trading under the business name MyFamily Grocer (“The Company”), is a private limited company incorporated under the laws of Mauritius.

1. Introduction
1.1.Welcome to the MyFamily Grocer Loyalty Program! With just a click, you can redeem point/s, access benefit/s, and win prize/s.
1.2.By registering in the Loyalty Program, you acknowledge that:
a) you have read, understood, and accepted the Terms and Conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) herein incorporated in this document; and
b) you have provided consent for the collection of Personal Data (“Personal Data”) for the purpose of administering the Loyalty Program.

2. Definitions
2.1. “Member/s” means an individual who has registered for the Loyalty Program.
2.2. “Points” means the units earned through eligible purchases that can be redeemed for rewards.

3. Eligibility of Participant/s
3.1. The Loyalty Program is open to eligible customers of MyFamily Grocer, that meet the following criteria:
a) Are aged 18 years and over;
b) Reside in Mauritius and hold a valid National Identity Card (“NIC”) or Residence Permit for work or otherwise.
3.2. The Loyalty Program is not open to Corporate Entities.

4. Application for Loyalty Card
4.1.Application for a loyalty card can be made either at a MyFamily Grocer Store or on the MyFamilyGrocer.mu Website (“Website”)
4.2. The application will require the applicant's first name, family name, NIC number (Mauritian Citizen) or passport number and Non-Citizen Identification Number (Foreign Resident), city of residence, email address, and a mobile number registered in Mauritius (collectively referred to as “Registration Information”).
4.3.All Registration Information provided must be true and accurate.
4.4.Applicants must acknowledge that they have read and understood the Terms and Conditions to complete the registration process.
4.5.After a successful online registration, Member/s may collect their loyalty cards either:
• on Fridays and Saturdays as from 10am - 5pm at CentrePoint
Trianon, Quatre Bornes, Mauritius.
• daily in store at CentrePoint, Trianon as from the 25th February 2025.
4.6.Member/s are responsible for promptly notifying the Company of any changes to their Registration Information by contacting the Customer Service Team at +230 466 2615, Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, and Saturday from 8 AM to 1 PM (“Customer Service”).

5. Loyalty Card
5.1. The loyalty card remains the property of the Company, and the Company reserves the right to issue, reissue, or withdraw any loyalty card/s at any time.
5.2. The loyalty card is non-transferable.
5.3. In the event of theft, loss, or damage to the loyalty card, Member/s must either visit the nearest MyFamily Grocer store or contact the Customer Service to temporarily ‘freeze’ the card.
5.4. If you require an additional loyalty card for reasons such as loss or theft,
the Company may charge a fee of Rs. 100 (One Hundred Mauritian Rupee) for each additional card issued.
5.5. The Company reserves the right to update or change the Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Member/s are advised to
regularly verify the latest version of the Terms and Conditions, which shall be available on the Company website.

6. Termination of Membership
6.1. The Company reserves the right to terminate any membership under the following conditions:
a) A Member has not earned or redeemed points in the past 12
consecutive months;
b) A Member has passed away;
c) The Company has reasonable grounds to believe that a Member has committed fraud or misconduct;
d) The Loyalty Program is terminated.
6.2.Member/s may terminate their membership at any time by contacting Customer Service. This will result in the cancellation of any accumulated points.
6.3.Upon termination, the loyalty card must be returned at the Member’s own cost.

7. Points
7.1.Member/s earn points upon each purchase by presenting the loyalty card at any MyFamily Grocer checkout counter. Points are awarded as
follows:
a) 1(One) point for every Rs. 9.25 (Nine Rupee Twenty-Five Cent) spent at any MyFamily Grocer store.
7.2.Opportunities to earn extra points may be offered on various product/s and promotional activities for limited periods of time and solely at the Company’s discretion.
7.3.Member/s are encouraged to monitor their points transactions to ensure accuracy.
7.4.Points credited in error or related to cancelled purchases may be deducted at the Company’s discretion

8. Redeeming Points
8.1.Points can be used as a payment method during purchases within a MyFamily Grocer Store:
a) Points are valued as defined below:
• Every 20 (Twenty) points accumulated = Rs. 1 (One Mauritian Rupee).
8.2.Points cannot be exchanged for cash or other monetary value.
8.3.Points are non-transferable.
8.4.Member/s may be required to present their National Identity Card
(Mauritian Citizen) or Passport (Foreign Resident) when redeeming points for verification purposes.
8.5. The Company reserves the right to change the conversion value of the points without prior notice.

9. Return Policy for Purchases
9.1. For returned items purchased with accumulated points, the Company may, upon verification and acceptance of the returned items, refund the equivalent points to the loyal card.
9.2. For returned products on which the Member/s earned points, the Company reserve the right to deduct any points earned from the purchase of the returned products, upon verification and acceptance
of the returned product.

10.Data Usage
10.1. All registrations are subject to our privacy policy, which may be amended from time to time.

11.Limitation of Liability
11.1. The Company shall not be held liable for the loss or theft of the loyalty card, nor for any unauthorised use or fraudulent activities.
11.2. The Company shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from participation in the Program.
11.3. By participating in the Program, Member/s waive any right to bring claims against the Company arising out of or in connection with the Loyalty Program.
